Knowing Nahid – A Proud Notredamian by Heart
I am Nahid — a son, a husband, a father, a friend, a brother, and a committed banker.
Hailing from a humble yet proud family of Bogura district, my early life started at Pallabi, Mirpur. Grabbed my first pencil at Sher- E- Bangla Nagar Govt Boys’ High School. Crossing the school boundary with flying colors, I chased my long-cherished goal to set foot at the most prestigious college of the country, one that is loved and cherish by certainly all of us – Notre Dame College. Hence forth Almighty blessed me to be an alumnus of the Coveted Dhaka University (DU), Department of Applied Statistics. I also achieved MBA from DU, with major in Finance & Banking. My professional carrier started as a Management Trainee (MT) at Dhaka Bank and after 15 years of loyal service, I’m the deputy Chief Risk Officer (Deputy CRO) of the same Bank. Occasionally, I worked as adjunct faculty of Business Administration in Daffodil University, guest faculty at Dhaka university and Eden College.

In personal life, I’m blessed with an angelic daughter, Ameerah Al Hasan and a power house son Abrar Al Hasan. Afsana Afrin, the queen of my empire, bears all the responsibility of my life as well as leads multiple export- import business seamlessly. Among all the institutions that shaped my journey, Notre Dame College stands at the core. It gave me discipline, values, and a lifelong sense of brotherhood that I carry closest to my heart. This is why I boast on my identity as a Notredamian. My strength lies in my active and engaging personality, always ready to take initiative and stand beside others. I acknowledge my emotional nature, which drives me to care deeply and remain sincere in every relationship. In family, friendship, profession, and community, I believe in unity, brotherhood, and a meaningful contribution. I want to remain someone who brings people together, supports others, and stands for collective and meaningful progress.
